This policy explains what information is used when you play Wyrazownik and how you can manage your consent choices.

What this website does

The website has no user accounts or contact form. The project source contains no payment system, embedded third-party content, advertising, AdSense or Google Analytics identifier. The game stores some information directly in your browser so that it can keep working between refreshes.

Essential browser storage

Local storage may contain your language and theme choice, local game statistics, an unfinished game and the daily-challenge state. These data remain in the browser on your device and are not sent to the controller by the game code. Your consent choice, consent version and the date of the choice are also stored there.

This storage is needed to remember settings, results and your privacy choice. You can clear it in your browser's site-data settings; doing so also removes local game settings and statistics.

Cookies and similar technologies

The game and consent choice mainly use localStorage rather than first-party cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data stored by a browser. Third-party cookies may only be used after the relevant consent has been given.

You can change the current setting in Cookie settings. Withdrawing analytics consent updates the consent state, removes recognised Google cookies for this domain and refreshes the page so the GTM container is not loaded in the new document.

Google Tag Manager and technical data

When you grant analytics consent, the website requests a Google Tag Manager container from Google's infrastructure. This technical request sends Google data needed to handle it, including IP address, browser and device information, the visited page URL and request time. The current repository contains no Google Analytics, Google Ads or AdSense code.

Google Tag Manager is a tag-management tool. Its contents are configured outside this repository. If the controller adds analytics, advertising or other technology to it, this policy, the consent categories and GTM consent configuration must be updated before publication. The current mechanism loads the container only after analytics consent and sends Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage denied by default.

Purposes, recipients and retention

Essential browser storage supports the game and remembers preferences. The optional connection to Google Tag Manager occurs only with consent and can support website-use analysis only if relevant tags are configured in the container. Google Tag Manager is the only external service detected in the source. Local storage remains until you clear it or the game removes it. Any retention period in Google depends on the actual container and Google-account configuration, which is not contained in this repository.

Your rights

Where personal data are processed, you may request access, rectification, erasure or restriction and, where applicable, object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time in Cookie settings. To exercise your rights, contact the controller. You may also lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when website functionality, the GTM container or applicable law changes. A material change to consent categories or processing purposes will receive a new version and show the consent request again.
